i think that stacey is the most frustrating charecter because he is the one forgiving tj more that what he is supposed to. i know most people are saying that tj is the most frustrating but in reality its stacey he forgave tj for all the things he did. also when he tells his brothers and sister to leave he is supposed to have the authority to tell them to leave. he always lets his sibiling tag along even though he knows they'll get in trouble just make them leave because the are not supposed to be there. i know tj seems the most frustrating but if stacey wouldn't have forgiven him then that would be the case.

You are right that Stacey should not let his brothers and sister tag along. However, sometimes they follow him without his knowing or allowing. Stacey forgives T.J. because he understands that T.J. just wants attention, and has a temper. Stacey also knows that T.J. needs to be watched and protected since he is easily mislead. He stops being T.J.'s friend because when he got Mama fired he had gone too far that time.

I think Stacey forgives TJ because he considers him a "brother" as well. Do troublemakers not deserve forgiveness?

I disagree with the fact that he forgives T.J because he never really did, just helped him out and understood his situation. Also, he doesn´t always intentionally have his siblings tag along, they just come even when Stacey doesn´t want them there and they can come in handy. He invited them along on many occasions including the bus at lunchtime because he needed there help. I respect Stacey because he needs to balance a lot going on in his life and he manages, even prospers.

Interesting point, Maya. As readers, we truly don't know if Stacey forgives TJ for all he did wrong. He does, however help him and even risk his own life to protect him. Do you think you can help someone to that extreme if you don't forgive them?

mabey but yet we all heve different opinions nd i like all of yalls but some tmes there is a limit and sometime people go way to far with that limit but i mean he deserves a forgiveness after all that he has gone through but yet stacey is still frusterating to me

I see your point, but i just don't agree. Stacey doesn't let his siblings tag along. Sometimes he doesn't even know they follow him; like when he went to the Wallace store. He doesn't really have the authority to tell them to go home, because he is the older brother and the kids look up to him, and if he doesn't go home, then why should they go home? He sometimes lets them tag along because he understands that they look up to him; he doesn't do it to be hated on.

Stacey can be frustrating in some cases. So I slightly disagree to the fact that T.J. is the most frustrating because first off all he doesn't treat the Logan kids like family nor friends. Which seems to me that he is not a true friend. He also had Mama lose her job, which was really frustrating for the Logan Family because the money Mama was making while being a teacher was paying off their mortgage. Overall I think that T.J. was the most frustrating in the story.

I agree with you Sharon because who would forgive a friend if they put there family in danger. Alos I liked it when you gave an example from the story why Stacey is frustrating. But also Stacey forgives T.J. because T.J. just wanted his attention and he knows T.J. gets mad a lot.

Sharon I do believe you are right but Stacey can't always control everything. Also I think he is frustrating because he is always getting himself in trouble to protect TJ. I believe Cassie is the only reason he is not dead yet. I think you should try and use evidence to make it stronger.

I think Stacey is just a mislead kid like T.J, despite their differences, T.J is one of Stacey's only friends close to his home. Yes, T.J is a very stubborn kid that is mislead and misleading, but I think Stacey thinks it is his duty to watch out for him like a sibling...
