The land is important to the logans because it is their pride. They take pride in it because it is their's and they are the only black ones with it. In the book it states that papa told cassie that he would die for the land because it was their's. This shows how the land is so important to the logans and all of you who disagree can because haters gonna hate.

what do you mean by the only black ones with it. It is also their heritage. they had it for generations. I agree with you.

I mean that they are the only ones with substantial land that they own.

I do not believe you post is truly academic and it has no real support. It is too short to make any sense of it and it wasn´t there for generations either. It was bought by the grandparents of Cassie so there is not a lot of time lapse since there is still Big Ma who is still alive. Finally, in this post, you are just repeating the same thing with no real support or evidence. You did use something from the book but that is not what David said and you didn´t show anything about the land being their pride, you just stated the broad and already known that can be used for any argument, not just your own.

I believe there was another family that had land like the logan's did, I would check your facts on that one. Yes the land is their pride and they will fight for it but if you think harder you can also think that their land is hope and pride for other families who share crop. It would be better if you could expand on what you wrote because the Logan's land is more than just their pride. Also it's not nice to call those who disagree "haters" they have there own opinions too. You did good. -Collin Kramer
